Nashville Opera provides many ways to enhance the opera going experience for life long aficionados, first timers, and anyone in between.  We strive to cultivate and enrich the arts in Nashville through a variety of events, lectures, and educational resources.  Explore what opportunities await you at the theater below.

Dress Rehearsals

Let your students be among the very first to see Nashville Opera’s mainstage productions by attending these special dress rehearsals!  Both rehearsals will take place in Andrew Jackson Hall at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in downtown Nashville.

Participating schools will receive an extensive study guide to prepare for the opera and supplement learning in the classroom.  Schools may also request additional education opportunities both at the theater and in the classroom.

Cost:  $8 for students, $10 for adult chaperones.

You receive one FREE chaperone pass for every 10 students.

Booking and registration information for the 2012.13 Season coming soon.

Study Guides

Developed by the Education Department, Nashville Opera study guides offer detailed information on the season’s productions and an opportunity to enhance your knowledge.  Use these study guides as your opera companion and ignite your passion by learning more about opera!
