All internships are unpaid positions, although all interns will receive two season tickets to Nashville Opera. Starting dates vary. Hours may include some nights and weekends. Each intern develops a list of learning objectives and goals in addition to being assigned projects to be completed during the internship. Housing is not included, though we will assist you with arrangements if needed.

Cover letter indicating which of the above internships interest you most, why you have an interest in working in the arts, and in what semester you’d like to do an internship (summer, fall, spring).
Résumé including present and permanent addresses, education, and work experience.
Writing sample of no more than three pages (class paper, newspaper article, etc.) that you believe represents your writing ability well.
Two letters of recommendation from professors, past intern supervisors, or other persons with knowledge of your work ethic.
