Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory
Out of an abundance of caution, Vanderbilt University's Dyer Observatory and Nashville Opera have made the difficult decision to postpone tonight's Opera on the Mountain.
Due to multiple rounds of severe weather that may impact Middle Tennessee this afternoon and tonight, we are rescheduling Opera on the Mountain to Saturday, September 6, 2025.
Your tickets for tonight's postponed event will be honored for September 6th. However, if you will be unable to attend that night, refunds will be made available by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. Pack your picnic basket, choose your favorite bottle of bubbly, and join us for a perfect evening of song and sky-gazing on the gorgeous green grounds of Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory.
A perennial family-friendly favorite, rain or shine, Opera on the Mountain sells out every year!
