This program is often students’ first exposure to any of the performing arts, and is acclaimed by countless educators and students for its value and effectiveness. The Raffle is open only to those residing in locales in which this Raffle is legally permitted. Void where prohibited.
Employees and agents of Nashville Opera Association, its Board of Directors, DK and Associates, BMW of Nashville, and their immediate family members (living in the same household) are prohibited from purchasing Raffle Tickets.
You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a Ticket or to enter the drawing.
Ticket Purchases.
The cost to purchase a single entry ("Ticket") for the Raffle is $100.
Any entrant may purchase more than one Ticket.
The cost of the Ticket is not tax deductible.

Payment options
Ticket payment by mail or in person at the Opera office can be made by cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover.
Ticket payment online and by phone can be made by credit card only.
Ticket payment to Opera Volunteers can be made by cash or check only.
Upon receipt of valid payment, a Ticket with a drawing number will be issued.
Tickets purchased online or by mail will be processed and mailed to the entrant within five (5) business days.
If an entrant's payment is dishonored by the bank for any reason, such entrant's Ticket will be declared invalid and available for immediate resale. Any dishonored credit card will be considered an invalid entry, and the Opera will endeavor to notify the entrant by e-mail, mail or fax.
All Ticket purchases will be handled and recorded on a first-come, first-served basis.
Any Ticket stubs and payments (including payments previously dishonored) received after closure of the Raffle will be returned to the entrant.
Prize.
The Prize is a Black 2007 BMW Z4.
Title to the Prize will be delivered to the winner's place of choice within ninety miles (90) of Nashville. If the winner is outside of the ninety mile radius, it is the sole responsibility of the winner to make the necessary arrangements to get the car to its destination, including all taxes and other fees associated with moving the car.
The Prize Winner is responsible for all costs associated with title, registration, licensing, delivery and other applicable fees associated with their respective prize, as well as for all local, state and federal taxes, including, but not limited to all luxury, special and income taxes that may be applicable. Winner will be required to provide Nashville Opera with all IRS and similar forms requested by Nashville Opera prior to delivery of the prize. Failure to do so within thirty (30) days of request shall result in an automatic forfeiture of Prize.
Winner may choose to accept $10,000 in cash instead of the automobile.
Winning Chances.
A maximum of 1,500 Tickets will be sold.
Each Ticket represents one chance to win.
Chances of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible Tickets sold. If 1,500 Tickets are sold, your chance of winning the Grand Prize is 1 in 1,500.
Modification or Cancellation of Drawing.
Nashville Opera reserves the right to cancel or modify the Raffle.
Drawing.
The Winner will be announced at the opening night of Madame Butterfly, April 12, 2007, at The Tennessee Performing Arts Center.
The Winner need not be present to win.
The Winner will be notified by phone, e-mail or by mail based on the information received on the Ticket stub.
The name of the Winner will be available to all media and will be available at the office of Nashville Opera and listed on the Opera's Website.
The Winner agrees to allow Nashville Opera to use their name, likeness, and any statements made by them regarding the prize for advertising or publicity purposes without compensation. The Winner may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability release. Failure to do so if requested or if one otherwise fails to comply by these rules and/or to make arrangements to claim the prize within thirty(30) days of notification will void that entry.
Awarding of Prize.
More than one name may be listed on a Ticket stub, but the first name listed shall be deemed to be the entrant.
Delivery or payment of any prize shall be made solely to the entrant.
It is the sole responsibility of the entrant in a multiple party entry to allocate any such prize among the participants in a multiple party entry.
Authority and Control.
The decision of Nashville Opera Association shall be final in all matters concerning the Raffle.
The Raffle is subject to the laws of the State of Tennessee. Void where prohibited by law.
