Important Performance Update

Due to an impending winter storm, the Saturday performance of The Girl of the Golden West has been moved to this Friday evening, January 23.

If you have Saturday tickets:

You may use your tickets to attend Friday’s performance. No action is required. Your seat will be waiting for you!
If you would prefer to attend Thursday’s performance (January 22), we will send an email confirmation with new tickets before Noon on Thursday.
If you are unable to attend either Thursday or Friday, a member of our staff will reach out to you next week to you to discuss tickets to The Barber of Seville or a show next season.

Get out of the way The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Here comes the original Italian Spaghetti Western! Puccini’s follow-up to his operatic masterpiece Madame Butterfly sets its exciting tale in the American Wild, Wild West, and is filled with all the fantastic music the composer is famous for.

The characters of a great John Ford western are all here:
- Dick Johnson, a handsome, good hearted outlaw in disguise!
- Jack Rance, the macho town Sheriff who’s ready to bend the law, when needed!
- And Minnie, the pistol-packing, poker-playing, saloon runnin’ heroine who’s too impetuous for any one man to tame.

Set during the California Gold Rush, this unique opera features passionate arias, blazing orchestra colors, and hair trigger excitement as the Wild West comes alive.
